Educational Awareness Campaign in India for Ooki

Finstreet is India’s First Blockchain & Crypto Education Platform. Our platform acts as an easily accessible medium for people to learn about the importance of DeFi & cryptocurrencies and the different asset classes associated with it.

Proposal Overview

India is currently going through a financial paradigm shift. After 2 years of active campaigning, finally the finance minister is getting regulations in crypto with putting them under a taxation slab. Due to this, we are seeing a massive surge of developers, traders, participants in DeFi, users and crypto enthusiasts onto Blockchain development & decentralized protocols. This makes it the perfect time to direct these interests within one community. Our goal is to create an Educational video series aimed to create awareness & base about Ooki Community & the ecosystem within the Indian community. This is how Finstreet will implement it:

Our Aim

  • Introducing Ooki to the potential new users with tutorials around staking, lending, margin trading, influencing crypto aware Indian users about the Ooki. India has one of the highest crypto adoption rates which makes this a great opportunity for organic growth. Our campaign will introduce and bring more users from the Indian Crypto community as an user onto Ooki with our experienced players.
  • Organizing dedicated sessions & webinars to attract users/traders onto Ooki on different features - staking, lending, borrow, trade etc.
  • Design new SOPs and partnerships inside the ecosystem to assist on-boarding of new users and encourage their participation with real world use cases on Ooki.

Mandates of Ooki Educational Awareness Campaign

The purpose is to increase growth and awareness about Ooki & its ecosystem in India: Onboarding users, new users and create an educational awareness about the project. Cultivating a connection of the Indian community with the project. Through our campaign we would like to bring user base traction towards Ooki along with Ooki Ecosystem DApps.

To meet our purpose, we will focus actively to increase brand visibility through cross channel content creation and distribution.   1. 3 Product Tutorial Videos explaining the Background of Ooki & the dApp features, and How does Ooki help users to margin trade, stake, Borrow, lend etc.
  2. Product Review Video showing all the advantages & merits of Ooki over other Decentralized Platforms/Projects.
  3. 5 Dedicated news updates (Biweekly basis)
  4. News Banners for 1 month in all the videos with best use cases (approx in 100+ videos on Finstreet channel)
  5. 5 short videos each posted on all platforms (5*5 = 25 videos) to create a buzz around Ooki. (alternate days of a week).
  6. AMA sessions with the people behind Ooki. AMA will be conducted based on Ooki community members’ availability.
  7. Investor’s meet-ups in Top investments clubs of Top Engineering Colleges connecting interested Developers with Ooki.
  8. Conduct 2 giveaways and incentivized challenges each month for 3 months to bring further engagement.

Grant Goals - Value To Ooki

Campaign + AMA Scheduling Process

The Ooki community members will be given a content calendar within a week of confirmation of the campaign, we will share our partnership form with the community members on which we will base our campaign. The date and time of each video will be mentioned and the community members will be notified weekly, to finalize speakers for traders sessions from the Ooki community members and feasibility of time and date.

  1. We want to start our campaign by creating a buzz around Ooki through short videos on our short video platforms to reach a broader demographic.
  2. After the publication of 2 short Videos, we will start our YouTube campaign with Product 2 Tutorial videos. After which we conduct our 1st AMA session.
  3. After the completion of the 1st AMA, we will be posting 1 Review Video, Final Product Tutorial Video and 2 short videos, before we conduct the 2nd AMA.
  4. Finally, we will complete the Osmosis campaign with 1 Ranking video and 1 Short Video.

Grant Timeline

The campaign will be 2.5 - 3 Months long. (It may go longer as per the market conditions)

Funding Request

Budget: We are looking for a total grant of $ 14,500.

Tranche 1: Our request is $7,000 upfront

Tranche 2: Rest $7,500 after 3 tutorials + reviews on the platforms, 4 short videos are published on respective platforms and 1 webinar session with developers.

We are Aiming for the campaign to last 3 Months.

Funds from the grant will be used in the following activities:

A) HR cost which includes the following people:

  1. Video Anchors
  2. Graphic designers
  3. Campaign Manager (Content architecture, quarterly reports, ticket resolution)
  4. Video editors
  5. Content writers
  6. Social media managers
  7. Digital marketers
  8. AMA host

B) Setup cost

  1. Monthly Infrastructure cost.
  2. Miscellaneous operational expenses.
